About the Tinicum Bridgeton Democrats
What do we represent
The purpose of TBD is to:
- Promote good government in Tinicum and Bridgeton Townships;
- Promote Democratic registrations in the townships and the values of the Democratic Party;
- Help select and work to elect qualified Democrats to municipal, county, state and federal offices;
- Welcome individuals who wish to advance the basic principals and values of the Democratic Party.

TBD Facts
Founded in 2004 to organize and focus the efforts of our township Democrats to win local, state and Federal seats for the Democratic Party. In 2022 Tinicum formally merged with Bridgeton to create the organization we are today. By bringing like-minded people together, educating our community and encouraging people to vote, TBD has helped to win back many important seats. With 236 active members, we can help make a difference in every election.
Our Candidates for 2025
Michael Kauffman - Tinicum Township Supervisor
Mike chose to make Tinicum his home in 2016. He saw immediately its beauty was the result of deliberate care. He owns a small business that helps retailers and investors in solving problems with their facilities and in their regulatory compliance. He has served Tinicum as a Township Supervisor, Conservancy Treasurer, Civic Association Trustee, and chair of the Historical Commission. His involvement with the community stems from a fervent belief that the beauty and uniqueness of Tinicum only exists because the resolve of past generations, and he is committed to carrying on that tradition. Mike enjoys hiking, biking, and just enjoying the peace and quiet Tinicum has to offer.
